Abstract: Pipeline gas has become one of the indispensable energy sources for resident's lives and economy development. With the increasing intensity of municipal construction in urban areas, excavation, drilling, and other engineering projects have severely impacted the safety of underground gas pipeline infrastructure. Gas pipeline damage caused by third-party construction repeatedly occurs, resulting in personal injuries and property damage.? Based on the causes of third-party damage accidents and relevant laws and regulations, this paper proposes measures to prevent gas pipeline damage and enhance pipeline facility safety by focusing on government functions.
