Abstract: As the development trend of petrochemical enterprises is towards large scale and deep processing, the severity of the consequences will increase once an accident occurs. Therefore, to organize accident plan drills regularly can improve companies’ capability to respond to unexpected accidents and reduce accident losses. Organizing accident plan drills is the main responsibility of safety production management agencies and safety production managers. A successful on-site accident plan drill in petrochemical enterprises requires detailed planning in advance. This paper discusses from such aspects as the drill site selection, preparation of personnel and props, drill start-up, process control and on-site commentary and so forth. It also forecasts the future trend of accident plan drills, which provides reference for petrochemical enterprises to organize drills for accident plans.
