Abstract: In desert areas, the vegetation type is single and the composition is simple. Oil field development will have certain impacts on the fragile ecosystem of the desert and destroy the original ecological balance of the surface vegetation. If the control and restoration measures are not appropriate, it may cause soil erosion and aggravate the desertification trend. This paper analyzes the impacts of pipeline laying, drilling and servicing operations on the ecosystem, and the impacts of oil field development on animals. It analyzes the impacts of desertification and landscape ecology, and proposes some ecological restoration and mitigation measures.
