Abstract: Chemical production enterprises store inflammable and explosive materials and the operation is oftern done in high temperature and the high pressure environment. Because of such special characteristics, once chemical equipment is out of order, it will bring a series of unpredictable impacts, which may lead to production fluctuations, environmental pollution, safety accidents and other problems. Therefore, equipment safety management is particularly important. At present, the status quo of chemical equipment safety management is not optimistic. There are many problems such as illegal operation, equipment failure, management loopholes, etc. Through the analysis of the management status quo, TPM management, information technology management, equipment management focus and other countermeasures are proposed to strengthen safety management of chemical equipment, explore new ideas of equipment management, improve the level of equipment safety management, and ensure long-cycle, stable, safe and efficient operation of chemical equipment.
