Abstract: As clean energy projects, LNG terminals are less polluting than other energy projects. But in the process of production operation, the terminals will inevitably produce environmental pollutants such as waste (sewage) water, waste gas, solid wastes and noise. Without control, they will also have adverse impacts on the environment. This paper summarizes the pollutants including waste water (sewage), waste gas, solid wastes and noise produced in the production process of LNG terminals and requirements in emission standards for these pollutants. Combining with the actual work experience, the paper expounds the countermeasures for discharge within controlling index of national standard and compliance management under the control of total indicator.
