Abstract: The water yield from the chemical wastewater reuse unit of a petrochemical company cannot meet the production needs. This paper analyzes this problem. Through systematic review and cause analysis of the feeding water of the chemical wastewater reuse system, the operation of the ultrafiltration device and the plugging of the reverse osmosis membranes, the optimization measures are developed. By reasonably adjusting water sources, optimizing the treatment effect of pretreatment BAF device, improving the ultrafiltration cleaning scheme, optimizing the reverse osmosis chemical cleaning scheme and so forth, the cleaning cycle of reverse osmosis was extended to 25 days, and the indicators of ultrafiltration and the recovery rate of reverse osmosis system and desalting rate were close to the design value. And the average daily water yield of the chemical reuse system was gradually increased from the daily average of 2,958.8 tons to 3,497.6 tons. The operation was more stable and the expected results were achieved.
