Abstract: ?As a high-risk energy exploitation sector, the offshore oil and gas industry operates in complex environment involving diversified hazards such as deep-sea operations, high-pressure conditions, and flammable/explosive substances, making effective safety management paramount. ?By analyzing the risk characteristics and current safety management status of the offshore oil and gas industry, this paper explores the significance of integrated owner-contractor safety management, its implementation challenges and strategic approaches.? Furthermore, the paper predicts future development trajectory for integrated owner-contractor safety management in the offshore oil and gas industry with the ultimate objectives of enhancing operational safety standards, safeguarding human lives and ensuring sustainable development of enterprises.
