Abstract: Downhole operations in oilfields have high safety risks during the construction process, and the degree of influence of various factors that lead to safety production accidents in downhole operations also varies. This paper adopts the Analytic Hierarchy Process to construct an evaluation index system for the influencing factors of safety risks in downhole operations. The importance of the influencing factors is ranked, and the following conclusion is drawn: operational risk is the most important aspect of safety risks in downhole operations, and employee violations are the key factor leading to safety risks in downhole operations.

Key words: oilfield downhole operation, safety risk assessment, Analytic Hierarchy Process
