Abstract: Safety protection devices such as rupture discs are common in the production site of high-sulfur natural gas. According to the standard, the replacement cycle of rupture discs is 2 to 3 years, during which it is difficult to detect the rupture of the discs in time, bringing hidden dangers to safety in production. Based on the theoretical research of a monitoring device for the operation state of the rupture disc designed by Jiang Yichang, Wen Dianjiang et al., a fixed alarm wire is designed on the circular plate of the rupture disc. When the rupture disc breaks, the circular plate of the rupture disc opens and the fixed alarm wire on the circular plate of the rupture disc will be broken. And the signal remote transmission allows the operator to detect the broken rupture discs in time and replace them as soon as possible. The field application indicates that the rupture disc with alarm device can make the duty room operators quickly discover the rupture disc and replace it in time, which can effectively prevent the fire source of pilot flame station from entering the gas field water tank through the broken rupture disc, and prevent work safety accidents. It is of certain value to promote the application in high sulfur stations with pilot flame and flame arresters prone to be blocked.
