Abstract: Based on the brief introduction of energy management contracting(EMC)in refinery plant in petrochemical industry and taking the utilization of low temperature waste heat in S Zorb unit as an example,this paper analyses the advantages and problems of adopting energy management contracting in petrochemical industry.It makes an in-depth analysis on these problems and comes up with some practical solutions.The paper emphasizes that energy saving company should pay special attention to the early stage of the project,integrate design,procurement and construction,and take advantage of the tax reduction measures issued by the State Administration of Taxation to reduce the project cost,improve the yield of the project and achieve win-win result for both energy consumption units and energy saving units.Thus,the development of the cause of energy saving and emission reduction can be promoted.
