Abstract: The demand for engineering ships in offshore oil engineering construction projects is growing day by day. It is particularly important to strengthen the access management and risk control of offshore construction ships in engineering construction projects. In order to ensure that the ships used in the engineering construction project meet the operation conditions, eliminate or reduce the risks brought by the ships, and standardize the ship safety management, this paper proposes three safety management countermeasures, namely, the access management of engineering ships, the safety management before the operation of engineering ships, and the safety management during the operation of engineering ships, to further implement the main responsibility of ship safety management in the engineering construction projects.
