Abstract: The production process of 2 ﹟ FCC Units is complex and most of the materials involved are inflammable, explosive, toxic and harmful. Once accident happens, the consequences are very serious. The effective measures to improve the safety management level and prevent accidents are to identify risks accurately, manage and control risks scientifically, and check and control hidden dangers timely. This 2 ﹟ FCC Unit uses the double prevention mechanism to identify the greater risk of fire and explosion accidents caused by leakage of the mechanical seal of the liquid hydrocarbon pump. Through such measures as adding emergency shut-off valve between the liquid hydrocarbon tank and the liquid hydrocarbon pump, the mechanical seal transformation of the liquid hydrocarbon pump and so on, the identified risks are under control. Through the hidden danger investigation, it is found that the glass plate pressure line of the liquid hydrocarbon tank is corroded and thinned, and corresponding measures are taken to control the hidden dangers and avoid accidents.
