Abstract: In petrochemical enterprises, the pipelines transporting flammable and explosive medium is prone to perforation and breakage due to aging, corrosion, external force and so on. In the process of inspection and maintenance, fire and explosion accidents may occur easily in construction if the process treatment is not in place and the safety measures are not carried out. Through the practice and application of oil pipeline maintenance in a petrochemical company, fire and explosion accidents can be effectively prevented by using the principle of “three elements” necessary for material combustion.
