Abstract: With the rapid development of the global economy, the demand for energy continues to escalate. Particularly as a strategic energy resource, petroleum plays an indispensable role in maintaining the overall functioning of socio-economic systems. Currently, there are many unsafe factors in the oilfield production process, and various safety and environmental protection risks are often encountered. The situation regarding safety and environmental protection management in petroleum production is severe, placing higher demands on corresponding safety and environmental protection work strategies. Based on this, this paper first introduces the importance of production safety management in oilfields. On this basis, it lists the possible safety risks and hidden dangers in the petroleum production fields and proposes targeted safety management strategies from multiple aspects with the aim of effectively reducing the risk factors during the petroleum production process and maximizing the protection of personal safety of operators.
