Abstract: This paper analyzes and studies the current carbon emission status, challenges in energy conservation/carbon reduction and vulnerabilities at petroleum depots and gas stations of petroleum sales enterprises. Focusing on two major obstacles to decarbonization — purchased electricity and LNG gas evaporation loss at refueling stations — it leverages the deep application of AI tools in data processing, process optimization and strategic decision-making. The paper proposes the establishment of an AI carbon reduction technology system and explores practical pathways for green transition at petroleum depots and gas stations using AI technology, aiming to advance the green and low-carbon transformation of petroleum depots and gas stations in oil product sales enterprises.
