Abstract: The compilation of VOCs emission inventories for petrochemical enterprises is of great significance for VOCs emission control. Taking a certain petrochemical enterprise in China as an example, this paper adopted the source classification and calculation methods recommended by the state to calculate the VOCs emission in 2020. Then the emission inventory was compiled, and the emission levels and characteristics were analyzed. The results indicated that the total VOCS emission of the plant was 4230 tons, which mainly contributed by tanks (32.9%) and loading (32.2%). The total VOCS emission factor of this plant was 0.35 kg VOCS /t oil refined, and VOCS emission factors of tanks and loading were 0.034 kg VOCS /t turnover and 0.14 kg VOCS /t turnover respectively, which were quite low among petrochemical plants. The research results provide reference for the study and emission control of VOCS in China's petrochemical enterprises.
