Abstract: This paper focuses on the effectiveness and improvement plan of emergency response strategies for chemical leakage accidents in the petrochemical industry. Hazardous chemical leakage incidents pose multifaceted impacts on the environment, human health, and socioeconomic systems.? The focus is on the significance and existing issues of emergency response strategies, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive emergency response plans. The paper also presents specific recommendations including enhancing inter-departmental cooperation, increasing technological investment and improving legal regulations. Finally, it discusses the limitations of this study and potential future research directions.
