Abstract: Dimethyl sulfoxide is widely used as an efficient organic solvent in the market. Its production process is relatively complex with a narrow range of parameter control, toxic and flammable raw materials, and high risks during the operation of the device, especially in the evaporative desalination process. Production safety accidents have occurred in many domestic devices. This paper analyzes the causes based on accident cases and puts forward some suggestions and measures.
