Abstract: Phast-QRA software was adopted to simulate and quantitatively analyze the consequences of a flash ignition accident occurred in a closed oil storage tank at a vehicle oil transportation worksite. According to the scene at the time of the accident and the related parameters, the radius of death, serious injury and minor injury of the closed storage tanks in the event of an accident is calculated through software simulation. The paper simulates and calculates the maximum influence range and severity of the accident. It puts forward the safety technology and management suggestions and countermeasures to prevent accidents. This provides the theoretical basis for avoiding the occurrence of similar accidents and the technical support for the safe production and operation of the closed oil storage tanks.
