Abstract: This article introduces the effects of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on the environment and human health. It elaborates on specific VOCs control measures for oil product loading gantries serving road tankers from three aspects covering source reduction, process control and end-of-pipe treatment. Technical solutions for VOCs management are explored, proposing a simplified process combining condensation and low-temperature oil absorption to recover high-temperature oil and gas vapors. Case studies validate the effectiveness and feasibility of these measures, identifying tanker truck negative pressure as the core factor influencing VOCs control efficacy. Addressing naphthalene crystallization in vapors is highlighted as a critical intervention. It is recommended to adopt a simplified high-temperature oil gas recovery process to address naphthalene crystallization and recover high-temperature oil gas components. The oil and gas recovery rate is predicted to exceed 97%, demonstrating considerable practicality and targeted effectiveness.
