Abstract: This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the latent static risks associated with long-term shut-in wells in old oil production plants, the dynamic volatility risks of underperforming wells, the systematic aging risks of equipment and facilities and the inherent vulnerabilities at the management execution level. By comprehensively applying on-site investigation, data analysis and case diagnosis methods, a safety control system suitable for oil production wells in mature oilfields is developed. The application results show that this series of measures have significantly enhanced the well control safety level and risk prevention and control capabilities of the oil production plants, providing a practical path with reference value for the safety management upgrade of similar mature oilfields.
