Abstract: With the stricter exhaust emission regulations for VOCs, petrochemical enterprises are strengthening pollution control over VOCs. However, since complicated composition and irregular emissions of exhaust gas in petrochemical en- terprises,it is difficult to select appropriate treatment meth- od. This paper analyzes the national standards for VOCs and summarizes the application fields and effect of mature treat- ment technology for VOCs in present petrochemical enterpri- ses. It also proposes the working methods and focus for com- prehensive treatment of VOCs.
