Abstract: The chemical industry occupies a significant position within the national economy. However, due to the involvement of numerous hazardous chemicals and intricate processes in its production, chemical process safety management is crucial. This paper analyzes the current state of chemical safety management both domestically and internationally and explores the issues present in current chemical process safety management. It also proposes effective measures to enhance chemical process safety management. These measures include fostering a process safety culture, advancing equipment renewal and maintenance, and introducing and cultivating advanced talent, thereby ensuring the safe and stable operation of chemical production.
