Abstract: With the further development of socio-economic level, the increasing demand for energy has put enormous pressure on environmental protection. Thus traditional fossil fuels are gradually shifting towards the development and utilization of new energy resources. Energy security has a significant bearing on the long-term stability and prosperity of a nation, making the safety of energy engineering projects all the more crucial. In recent years, major oilfields have accelerated the development and construction of new energy projects. The current direction of energy development prioritizes new energy sources, and it is imperative to strengthen safety management and control of new energy projects to meet the demands of contemporary development. The construction of new energy projects differs greatly from that of traditional energy projects, and new methods are required for their safety management. This, in turn, requires management innovations that keep pace with the times to ensure the safety of new energy project construction, thereby promoting the stable development of such projects.
