Abstract: CURRENT SITUATION OF GLOBAL LNG IN- DUSTRY AND DEVELOPMENT OF LNG IN- DUSTRY IN CHINA[ 11 Zhao Guangming , Meng Qinghai, Li Fengqi, Li Haiyan （SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation, Beijing, 100101 ） Abstract： China is a major energy consumer. Currently, coal accounts for almost 70% in China＇ s ener- gy structure. By the end of 2014, coal accounted for 65% of China＇ s primary energy consumption. The environmental problems caused by unreasonable energy consumption structure are very severe. It＇ s our country＇s implementing direction for energy develop- ment strategy to change the primary energy consumption structure, improve energy efficiency and increase consumption proportion of non-fossil energy and natural gas. Increasing the ratio of natural gas in energy consumption is the easiest and most effective way to change the energy structure.
